During those freezing or scorching hot days, many homeless people are left without any relief in sight. It’s been Joy Junction’s mission to help the homeless when and wherever we can. Joy Junction is pleased to announce its new Day Shelter Program.
This program gives the homeless a warm or cool place to stay during the day. The homeless are able to call Joy Junction between 8-8:30am daily and be picked up at a downtown location where they will then be shuttled to Joy Junction around 8:45am.
The people who attend the Day Shelter Program will receive lunch and dinner during their time at Joy Junction where they can also participate in case management and chaplaincy programs. After dinner, they will have an opportunity to get shuttled back downtown around 6pm or have priority access to spending the night at the Joy Junction facility.
